The Serum Total Lopids Levels of Korean Children

Abstract
|
|
|
An experiment was performed to determine the serum total lipids levels in Korean healthy children. They were measured by Sperry´ s method.
1. The average serum total lipids levels depending an age are as follows.
475.76±141.44 mg % in neonates, 469.9±111.04mg % in 6month-1year age group, 461.81±78.78 mg % in 1-6 year age group, 465.91±134.71 mg % in 6-13 year age group.
2. No significance differences were found in average values between neonate group and 6 month-1 year age group, between 1-6 year age group and 6-13 year age group and between 6-13 year age group and adult group.
3. No significance differences were found in average values between male and female or breast feeding and artificial feeding.
